Then He left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, ‘Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.’ He answered, ‘The One who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. – Matthew 13:36-39

The people are the field in which Jesus Christ sows the good seed. The good seed are the children of the Kingdom and the weeds are the children of the evil one. The enemy, who sowed the weeds, is the evil one and the harvest is the end of time.

Time to harvest

Jesus says that at the end of days there will only be two types of people to be harvested: people who will enter the Kingdom of God and those who did not believe in God and walked on the broad path with the evil one.

At the end of time, the Son of Man will send His angels, the harvesters, and they will weed out of His Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil will be thrown into the blazing furnace. There will be remorse, tears and sorrow. Then the righteous ones will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father God in heaven.

So, your choice today determines where you will be spending eternity after this life.

Forever safe

John 14:2-3 states: ‘My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.’

If you are a child of God, you do not have to be afraid. Jesus is the Way. He is saying to you today: ‘Let Me write your name in the book of Life so that you will be safe on that great day.’ Safe forever in the place the Lord God intended for you, with Him, in His glory.
